Squintice belt update

In my last post I told you about a belt I was weaving for a friend in my Shire that had been apprenticed in addition to already being a squire.

Well, I have completed the weaving and am now in the process of trying to get a belt buckle and tip on it.

I have included a couple of pictures here and the link to additional photos in my smugmug account (http://houndsgate.smugmug.com/gallery/7065486_wD6K8/1/452669910_pA5ub).

By the way, I also forgot to mention that I got the patterns for this belt from Master Guntram's website (http://www.guntram.co.za/tabletweaving/). He has some wonderful patterns posted with his software for patterning tabletweaving.

Tabletweaving

Okay, so my next post was supposed to be some months ago and it was supposed to be about a garment.

I got caught up in a lot of stuff, mostly traveling, and couldn't get back to my blog to make the next post.

So, here I am working on a project and I liked it so much I had to take pictures. A friend in the S.C.A. who is a squire also became an apprentice and asked me to weave him a double color belt. So we went over all kinds of patterns. Two were picked and after much fussing, cussing, and unweaving I am happy to say that I have at last achieved an even look.

Here are some photos.
